    International guidelines recommend that patients be mobilized twice a day for at least 20 minutes during the first three days of admission to the intensive care unit. Early mobilization not only improves the long-term functional outcome of these patients, but also their alertness. Timely movement therapy shortens the duration of intensive care treatment.

    Dynamic oder static


    In 2003, standing was virtually reinvented when we developed the balance unit – "dynamic standing" was born. Dynamic standing is more of a challenge and thus much more motivating for the user. Dynamic standing exercises are always active exercises - which is why therapists like this form of exercise so much. 


    Optimally positioned


    The quick forefoot and heel quick securing systems that can be flexibly positioned on the tread surface are highly practicable. These securing systems can be individually arranged in accordance with the training objective.

    It is possible, for example, to do exercises in step or parallel position, or standing on one leg. The antislip tread surface prevents patients from losing their footing. Securing systems and tread surfaces are wear-resistant, washable and can be disinfected. 

    Doube Safety

     

    The THERA-Trainer balo is equipped with a set of knee supports to secure the legs at the front and side. The supports can be used separately, depending on the user's needs and therapy goal. Naturally, the supports are cushioned, and the height, distance and depth are adjustable.

    The same applies to the pelvic support set. This set of knee supports also consists of individual cushions whose distances and depths are adjustable so that every user can have optimal "contact" with the training device for dynamic training. Safety bolts for the pelvic supports set ensure double safety when training.  An individually adjustable upper body support is available for patients in vegetative state, for example.

    Electric lift

    In safe hands

    In accordance with the dose-response principle, the more often the exercise equipment is used, the more effective it will be. So that the severely affected or wheelchair users can use the THERA-Trainer balo every day, it is equipped with an electric lift. 

    The electric lift was developed to be able to get into the trainer without difficulty. Here a belt is attached to the user in the wheelchair and connected to the electric lift. Now you can use the remote control to start the motor and gently place the user in an upright position in the THERA-Trainer balo.

    Wake up and move!

    The standing and balancing exerciser is suitable for patients with risk of falling as well as for wheelchair users and patients in vegetative state.

    With this trainer, those with little or no core stability can exercise effectively and safely. Exercising when standing up makes breathing easier, stabilises the circulation and stimulates the metabolism. Thanks to its balance unit the dynamic trainer also enables those affected to maintain or improve their balance and mobility.
