    The incontinence stimulator is a battery-operated pulse generator that stimulates the muscles of the pelvic floor using a vaginal or rectal electrode. The device has a single controllable channel to which the electrode is connected. The stimulator has five (5) preset programs. The type of program and the stimulation intensity are controlled by push buttons.

    The Incontinence Stimulator was designed to help people with incontinence get automatic Kegel exercises to work. The low frequency currents used in the programs increase blood flow to the muscles, increasing their resistance to fatigue and reducing involuntary bladder contractions. Stress and urge incontinence, the most common types of incontinence, could be reduced by continuously using the incontinence stimulator. Use the device to practice Kegel exercise to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and achieve postpartum recovery. Once strength has been improved by the brief cycles of electrical stimulation, muscles are better able to resist urine leakage caused by external pressure applied to the bladder.
